HOW IT WORKS  

Cotswold Taste is a member-owned, not for profit co-operative that provides vital advice, business, marketing and promotional support to its members, food chain producers and support businesses to help their resilience and business success. 
 
It is able to draw upon a wealth of knowledge of land management, food and drink production, supply and retailing, and hospitality outlet management. 
 
It is also designating Corporate Partners, major participants in the food and drink chain, who can help Cotswold Taste to secure market presence and achieve its objectives more rapidly, and whose own businesses and activities can benefit from association with Cotswold Taste and its values. 

DIRECTORS 

Cotswold Taste has a Board of four highly qualified individuals with wide-ranging experience in business operations and start-ups, the food and drink sectors, business training and consultancy, funding and management, and marketing, promotion and events. 
 
 

NICHOLAS WALOFF EXECUTIVE CHAIR 

Nicholas brings a wealth of experience in the business sector.  
He lives in Lechlade, Gloucestershire, is a Director of Three Counties Food & Drink Co Ltd, and is also the Business Development Director of The Brilliant Beer Company.  
His career has spanned 4 decades in both the UK and North America, encompassing the housing and property sectors; heritage and archaeology; food and drink; and Parliamentary relations. He describes himself simply as a ‘market maker’. 
 
 

CHRIS LEIBBRANDT SECRETARY/TREASURER 

Chris is an experienced Marketing Consultant who runs his own specialist company Charismatic Marketing, and lives in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.  
A world-class fisherman, he contributes to ‘Tackle and Guns’, and is also the Editor of CAMRA Gloucestershire’s magazine ‘The Tippler’. 
 
 

SARAH HAWKESWOOD PRODUCER DIRECTOR 

Sarah is passionately committed to sustainability issues, and runs her free range turkey, hens, duck and quails egg business, Phoenix Free Range, from Bisley, Gloucestershire. She prides herself on the fact that her turkeys are not just for Christmas!  
Sarah also spends much time at local business and country shows promoting the case for - and the cause of - rare breeds in the UK. 
 
 

LAURA BLAIR TECHNICAL DIRECTOR 

Laura is an experienced food scientist who runs her own food safety and technical consultancy company, Flair Food Consulting. 
With a background in both manufacturing and retail sectors, Laura specialises in delivering bespoke food safety solutions and technical consultancy, implementing tailor-made Quality Management and HACCP systems, auditing, training and mentoring packages. A member of the IFST Register of Professional Food Auditors and Mentors, Laura lives in Winchcombe, Gloucestershire.
